Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 17, 2026

TripTamba ("us", "we", or "our") operates the TripTamba website (the "Service"). This policy explains what data we handle, how we use it, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law.

We try to be thoughtful about personal data. We collect the minimum needed to run the site, keep it only as long as we need it, and do our best to be transparent about what happens with it.

Data we collect

TripTamba does not offer user accounts, so we hold no profile data. We only process what you voluntarily send us through our forms:

The legal basis for processing this data is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in answering you or reviewing your contribution.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies. We may use strictly necessary and functional cookies or browser local storage to remember preferences such as your language choice or reading mode. These do not identify you and are not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

If we add cookies that require consent in the future, we will ask for it before setting them and update this policy accordingly.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individual users. We only receive aggregated data such as visit counts, page views, and countries of origin.

International transfers

Our site is served through Cloudflare, which may process request data outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare provides appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention

Data submitted through forms is kept only as long as needed to respond to your request or review your contribution. Once processed, it is deleted within a maximum of 12 months, or sooner if you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

We will respond to any request within one month. To exercise any of these rights, reach us through the contact form.

Right to complain

If you believe we have mishandled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

Legal disclosure

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, by a competent authority, or in response to a valid legal request.

Children

TripTamba is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
